A lot of projects put a token at the centre and build a product around it to justify the token. DAOasis is the other way round.
The product is a wellness ecosystem: an app that makes consistency visible, a curriculum, a community, and a place in Phuket. The token exists to connect participation in that ecosystem to a stake in it — which is a narrower and more boring claim than the ones usually made, and the point of this page is to keep it that way.
$DVT is not the product
DAOasis is the product and the ecosystem. The Companion App, the two learning tracks, the quests, the journey from Bangkok to Phuket, the community and the planned Sanctuary are what DAOasis is for. Most of that works with no token involved at all.
$DVT is a layer that sits behind the experience rather than in front of it. Nothing about walking, sleeping, learning or completing a quest requires you to understand a blockchain, or to hold anything.
If the token were removed tomorrow, DAOasis would still be a wellness product worth using. That is the relationship we are trying to build — the token adds a layer of ownership and alignment on top of something that stands up on its own, rather than being the reason to show up.
DRC — DAOasis Reward Credits
DRC is the recognition layer. It is earned through participation inside the DAOasis experience — quests completed, lessons finished, streaks held, contributions to the community — and it is held inside the app.
No blockchain, no wallet, no market. DRC is a record of what you have done, kept where you did it.
DRC can be converted into $DVT. That conversion is the bridge between the everyday layer and the on-chain layer, and it is covered in section 04.
DRC is not money, not legal tender, not electronic money, not a deposit, not a payment instrument, not a security and not an investment. It has no monetary value guaranteed by DAOasis, is not redeemable for cash, and gives you no ownership of or claim against DAOasis.
DRC carries no price and should not be treated as something to speculate on. Any figure you ever see attached to DRC that looks like a currency value is not something DAOasis publishes.
$DVT — the DAOasis Value Token
$DVT is the on-chain utility layer. It is designed to connect deeper participation to the parts of the ecosystem that need a shared unit: the marketplace, governance, staking, Stake to Create, and contribution to DAOasis itself.
Interacting with $DVT is voluntary. The Companion App can be used in full without it. Nobody is required to hold a token to take part in DAOasis.
The distinction between the two layers is the whole architecture, and it is worth holding on to:
DRC recognises what you did. $DVT lets you do something with that recognition inside the ecosystem, if you want to. Neither is an investment.
Conversion
DRC is designed to be convertible into $DVT. Converting is a choice, and it moves you from a closed in-app record to an on-chain asset — which is a real change in the nature of what you hold, not just a change of name.
Conversion rates, caps, eligibility criteria and timing are In design. They are subject to change, to implementation, and to applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
DAOasis does not guarantee that conversion will be available to you, in your jurisdiction, at any particular rate, or at all. Nothing on this website is a commitment to a conversion ratio, and no ratio published in a draft document should be relied on.
Converting DRC into an on-chain asset means taking on the risks in section 09 — including irreversibility, key loss and complete loss of value. Those risks do not exist while your participation is recognised as DRC inside the app. That is a genuine reason many people should simply not convert, and DAOasis would rather say so than encourage it.
What each mechanic is for
Five mechanics, each with what it is designed to do and where it actually stands. The status labels here match the ones used on the Web3 Layer page and the Investor Overview — deliberately, so nobody has to reconcile three versions.
Where something is not built, this page says so. It will be updated when a mechanic ships — in the present tense, with its actual scope, rather than by quietly upgrading the language here.
What we do not promise
This is the section that matters most, so it is stated as a list rather than buried in prose.
Price appreciation. No projection, target, forecast or expectation of the
value of $DVT or DRC.
Investment returns. $DVT is not offered as an investment and no return is
promised.
Profit. No share of revenue, earnings or profit attaches to holding
$DVT.
Passive income. Holding or staking $DVT is not a way to generate
income.
Guaranteed staking returns. Staking mechanics are in design, and no yield,
rate or reward is promised.
Liquidity. No commitment that $DVT can be sold, exchanged or converted at
any time, at any price, or at all.
A listing. No commitment that $DVT will be listed on any exchange or
venue.
Delivery of planned features. Anything marked in development or in design may
change, be delayed, or not be released.
You will not find a price, a market capitalisation, a yield, an APY, a projected return or a user count anywhere on this website. That is a deliberate editorial rule, not an oversight — those numbers invite exactly the framing this page exists to avoid.
If you encounter material presenting DAOasis, DRC or $DVT with a price chart, a projected return or a promised yield, it did not come from us. Please report it.
Not investment advice
Nothing on this website, in the Companion App, in DAOasis learning content, in DAOasis community channels or in any DAOasis communication constitutes financial, investment, legal, accounting or tax advice, or a personal recommendation.
Nothing here is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security, financial instrument or investment product, in any jurisdiction where such an offer or solicitation would be unlawful.
DAOasis is not a bank, a broker, an exchange, an investment firm, a financial adviser or a licensed financial institution, and does not hold itself out as any of those.
The DAOasis learning curriculum includes a Web3 Track that teaches how blockchains, tokens and wallets work. That is education, not advice — explaining how something works is not a recommendation to do it.
If you are considering interacting with any digital asset, consider taking independent professional advice from someone qualified and regulated in your own jurisdiction, and only ever risk what you can afford to lose entirely.
Jurisdiction and eligibility
The legal treatment of digital assets differs sharply between countries, and it changes. What is permitted in one place may be restricted, licensed or prohibited in another.
As a result:
- Token functionality may be unavailable, limited, or available only on different terms depending on where you are.
- DAOasis may restrict or withdraw access to $DVT functionality in particular jurisdictions where legal or regulatory circumstances require it, and may have to do so at short notice.
- Verification of identity, age or location may be required before certain functionality is provided.
- You are responsible for understanding and complying with the laws and regulations that apply to you, including tax obligations, before interacting with any digital asset.
The jurisdictions in which $DVT functionality will be offered, and the regulatory analysis supporting that, are Pending legal and regulatory review. Nothing on this page should be read as confirmation that $DVT is available, or lawful, where you are.
Risks worth understanding
Not a wall of warnings for its own sake — these are the specific things that go wrong with digital assets, and they are worth knowing before rather than after.
- Complete loss of value. Digital assets can lose all of their value, and can do so permanently and quickly.
- Irreversibility. A confirmed blockchain transaction cannot be undone by DAOasis or by anyone. A mistake in an address is not recoverable.
- Key loss. If you lose your private key or recovery phrase, your assets are gone. There is no password reset and no support route that can restore them.
- No deposit protection. Digital assets are not covered by deposit insurance or financial compensation schemes.
- Technology risk. Smart contracts can contain flaws. Networks can suffer outages, congestion, forks or attacks.
- Third-party risk. Wallets, exchanges and infrastructure providers are independent of DAOasis and can fail, be compromised, or withdraw service.
- Regulatory risk. Rules can change in a way that restricts or prevents functionality, sometimes with little notice.
- Liquidity risk. There may be no market, or no market at a price you would accept, when you want one.
- Delivery risk. Planned functionality may change, be delayed or not arrive.
- Tax risk. Transactions may create tax obligations, including where no cash changed hands.
None of these are unique to DAOasis. All of them are reasons to be deliberate rather than enthusiastic, and reasons that participating in DAOasis without ever touching the token layer is a completely legitimate way to use it.
Security and fraud
Projects with tokens attract impersonators. A few rules that will keep you safe:
- Nobody from DAOasis will ever ask for your recovery phrase or private key. Anyone who does is attempting to steal from you, whatever they claim to be.
- DAOasis does not run token giveaways, airdrops with an entry fee, or "send-to-receive" promotions. Any such offer is fraudulent.
- DAOasis will not contact you privately with an investment opportunity, an allocation or a presale. Announcements are made publicly.
- Check the address. Official DAOasis communications come from official DAOasis channels. Look-alike domains and handles are the standard technique.
- DAOasis does not hold your keys. Your wallet is yours, which means its security is yours too.
Where official contract addresses and channels exist, they will be published here and on the Web3 Layer page, and should be verified against this website rather than against anything forwarded to you. Current status: Official contract addresses and channels to be published when they exist.
If you encounter something impersonating DAOasis, please report it.
